Jashan E Baharan 2023 was Celebrated by Department of Education GCWUF. The department of Education arranged ???Jashan E Baharaan??? on 21st of March, 2023 under kind covenorship of VC GCWUF Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq (T.I.) and supervision of Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zill-i-Huma Nazli. The students of Education department presented the Punjabi, Balochi, Sindhi, KP and Kashmiri culture. Students arranged different food stalls and jewelry products. The students sang various cultural songs and participated in this event wearing traditional cultural attires. The students presented Luddi and traditional Bhangra also. HOD of Education Department Dr. Syeda Samina Tahira welcomed Director Students Affairs Dr. Asma Aziz, Ms. Saira HOD English department and Ms. Qamar Shehzadi, Ms Tooba Najam HOD Department of Art and Design Dr. Riffat HoD Department Applied Psychology and faculty members of other departments. Dr. Asma Aziz said that there is no shortage of talent in our students and this is the reason that the girls of this soil have made the name of their country bright in the field of education as well as in the field of entrepreneurship. Stalls of traditional food items were also established on this event.
